Christchurch City Council to continue to help fund the Residential Advisory Service

Christchurch City Council at its 28 May 2015 meeting agreed to put more money into funding the Residential Advisory Service (RAS).

Councillors decided unanimously to support the service with a $50,000 contribution which will come from the Christchurch Earthquake Mayoral Relief Fund.

The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA), the Earthquake Commission and members of the Insurance Council of New Zealand have committed to fund a further $1.15million.

The funding will help the delivery of services to Canterbury residents.
